Can I combine jungle, fishing, birding and camping in one trip?
Yes. Most custom itineraries mix two or more of our tour types. A common example is three days of jungle and cultural activities from the eco-lodge, followed by two days of sport fishing, or birding mornings added to jungle days at the eco-lodge.
How long can a custom itinerary be?
Anything from a single day to several weeks. Our scheduled packages run from one to seven days, and custom trips can be as long as you like.
Are custom tours private?
Yes. A custom itinerary is built for your group only, with your own licensed bilingual guide. Groups of two or more get the best per-person rates; solo travellers are welcome and quoted individually.
What is included in the price?
Transport from Iquitos, river transport, lodging at our eco-lodge or in the field, all meals and drinking water, your guide, and activity gear such as boats, rods and tackle or tents. Alcoholic drinks, tips and personal purchases are not included.
Where do custom tours take place?
Around Iquitos in the Loreto region of the Peruvian Amazon: our eco-lodge on the Yanayacu River, the Nanay River, the jungle around San Regis for our longest fishing trips, and the Pacaya Samiria National Reserve for camping expeditions. We pick you up and drop you off in Iquitos.
How do I pay and what is the cancellation policy?
